This checklist, adapted from Gillon et al. (2006) will help you (speechies) determine what to include when assessing a child in the developing language stage. Our decisions are guided by three factors: 1) we may need to decide if the child shows significant challenges; 2) we want to investigate if these challenges are persistent; 3) we want to evaluate functional impact (Bishop et al., 2016).
